The Polar Express (2004) – All Aboard Scene (1/5) | Movieclips

Oh, that would be sad
if that were true. Yeah, an end
of the magic. Merry christmas,
sweetheart. Dad:
See? He’s out like a light. An express train
wouldn’t wake him up now. Hero boy:
“end of the magic”?[clock ticking] [ticking growing louder] [ticking stops] [metallic rattling] [clattering in distance] [rumbling] [clattering, rumbling
growing louder] [steam whistle blowing] [train chugging] [chugging slowing]

  1. Why can’t I find the clip before this where the train shakes the house and stuff when it’s coming to a stop

  2. The sounds that the locomotive makes while parked sound so… otherworldly. I feel chills go down my spine whenever I hear the alien-like metallic moans, squeaks, and hisses of the Polar Express.

  3. I remember as a kid I got stressed out that he wasn’t boarding the train fast enough and that it would leave without him

  4. Soo nobody except him in his neighborhood was hearing the sounds of a giant steam locomotive chugging through they’re neighborhood?

  6. I know this movie is meant to be mysterious and all but how come none of the characters get any names. Billy is the only character who says is own name out loud. But the credits just say Hero Boy, Hero Girl, the conductor, and the hobo

  7. Fun fact: Tom Hanks which is the conductor, plays as 5 different characters in this movie. The boy, the conductor, the hobo, Santa and one of the engineers. He did voicing for the conductor, hobo, Santa. But all 5 characters he acted out with cgi, and the Producer of the movie. He actually grew up in Ohio in some town I forget what it was. Where you see all the presents in that store in that one scene is actually based off in the town he was born at. Also the Steam Locomotive in this movie is actually based off a real company. It’s the Pere Marquette 1225 that runs through Ohio and actually does Polar Express trips. Well… why this locomotive. You can notice Pere Marquette’s number is 1225 well 12 is December and the 25th which is Christmas. Weird huh? They used the real whistle from real life into the movie. The passenger cars are real too. There owned by the Stratsburg RailRoad Museum. One of the kids say the Engine was built in 1930 but it was actually built 1940 around the same time WWII was happening and also the big boy engines being built. Well, I hope you learned some things today and I hope your day is nice, thank you all.

  8. Aaahhh Nothing like drinking hot chocolate with the snow falling outside on a cold night, lights are dimmed down, fire is burning in the fireplace, and this movie is playing. My childhood belongs in this movie!
