  1. Thanks for making the instruction to use video with motion detetctor clear. The driver cd will not work with vista or windows 7, do you know how to adjust the time on the displayed video ?

  2. If I understand correctly:
    1. To turn device on, press K1 for 3-4 seconds.
2.To turn on motion detection, press K2 for 3-4 seconds
    3. To save recording and turn off, press K1 for 3-4 seconds

    Is this right?
    Thank you.
    Isak.

  3. How to set the time and date:
The time and date you can change it by using the attached text file called tag.txt so open notepad and type this in as shown:
    [date] Space/Enter
2010/01/01 Add your date then Space/Enter
    12:06:20 Add your time
Save the notepad file as tag.txt
Now with the camera plugged into the USB there are 2 ways to add this file to the camera.
#1 Place the tag.txt file next to the camera folder named DCIM (this is the root of camera)

  4. The time and date you can change it by using the attached text file called tag.txt so open notepad and type this in as shown:

Now with the camera plugged into the USB there are 2 ways to add this file to the camera.
#1 Place the tag.txt file next to the camera folder named DCIM (this is the root of camera)

  5. #2 Place the tag.txt file onto the drive letter of ur camera by going to start/computer/camera drive /then drag and drop or copy and paste the file onto the drive letter.
Unplug the camera and power it off. Next time u turn it on the file will be accepted and the time and date will change.

  6. If u cant figure it out heres the TAG.txt I made, just change the numbers to ur date & time.
Once the tag.txt has been accepted the camera will delete it, so u wont see it in folder next to DCIM folder anymore.

  7. Yes, that's the basic on/off switching command.
Please try to memorize the light indicator instruction on the manual, the frequent and colour of lights all indicates its specific status. Try to remember by heart. By doing so, would assist you to get similar with this device. Its a great gadget just need to play with it.

  8. These things are really neat, but it's so annoying that on all of the lesser priced clock spy cameras that they put a flashing led for various settings. Why? It's not much of a spy tool if it's flashing at people. The $300+ models out there don't do that. They should blink when you activate them, then no more after that so you can set them up to record covertly.

  9. Also is there a way to adjust the amount of time it records after the motion sensor has been activated? My computer will not install cd that comes with the clock.

  10. Personally, I think blinking lights on spy cameras is a dead giveaway… Also the camera shouldn't be able to be seen in a really good spy cam.

  11. WHY DOES TH SPYCAM ALWAYS CLICK WHEN RECORDING, ALSO, I DONT SEEM TO BE ABLE TO SETUP MOTION DETECTION, I AM DOING ALL YOU SAY BUT IT STAYS ON RECORDING WITHOUT STOPPING. IS THIS CLOCK FAULTY. [email protected]

  12. Hi, don't think you can replace a stronger battery, as the cover is sealed, but if you managed to open the ocver you should be able to replace it, I once treid to convert a MD80 (Mini DV ) to a cellular phone battery which would last me 24 hours, but still it my personal modification, regards, ElectronicPro

  13. still confused on setting the time??
so in the notepad i'm supposed to type this:

    2011/09/30
    16:25:00

and my camera also continously records instead of only recording motion… any ideas of what i am doing wrong??

  14. Hi the whole device is sealed can't be known the exact notation of the microphone, in that case check with your PC's sound is switch on while watching it on the media player, otherwise it could be the faulty one, regards ElectronicPro

  15. Hi
Did you find the way to set the date and time on the camera?
please let me know how to do it.
    thank you in advance 🙂

  16. oh god thank you so much for putting this up xD i lost the instruction manual right when i got the package.
    thank you :3

  17. Hi there, it wouldn't be possible to replace a stronger battery, as it requires a special open tool to open the device without damaging the device cover. The only way is to send it back to manufacturer to upgrade it, regards, ElectronicPro

  18. some of the explanations were a little confusing so here are mine 🙂

    Taking Still Pictures:

    1. Press and hold(long press)the on/off button (between 1 & 2 on clock face) and releaseit when you see the red light (under the 6 on clock face) come on, it will automatically then turn green (wait for it) and you are now in standby mode.
Note: If you stop here with no additional input, it will shut off after 1 minute of just standby.

  19. 2. Press and hold (long press) the other button (between 10 & 11 on clock face) and release when the red light begins to blink. The red light will blink six times and now you are in motion detection mode. The red light will again blink six times once motion is detected and begin recording. It will return to motion standby when the motion stops. If it detects motion again later, the red light blinks six times again and starts recording again until the motion stops.

  20. Note: It starts recording as soon as the red light begins the first of its six blinks. It continues to record for an additional approximate 30-45 seconds after no further motion is detected before returning to standby.

    3. Press and hold (long press) the on/off button to turn the camera off. The red light will blink three times and go off.
Note: If you merely want to return the camera to its original standby mode, then only quick press the on/off button instead.

  21. Does the light turn on when you want video and it is motion in front of it? If it does that is a dead giveaway that it is not a regular clock…

  22.  I have a perfect spot for the camera but everything is too close. is there a way i can zoom out the camera? I would have to place the clock outside of the room I want to monitor, then it will be obvious that this isn't a normal clock.
