Charlie Sheen Watch Collection | SwissWatchExpo [Watch Collection]

From SwissWatchExpo… Spotlight On: Actor Charlie Sheen, and his
impressive watch collection. Charlie Sheen, best known as the star of Two
and a Half Men, was the highest paid TV actor during his prime. Following years of personal struggles, he
has recently opened up to press about gaining sobriety, and many eagerly await his return
to acting. Behind the scenes, Charlie is also well known
for his extensive watch collection – composed mainly of dress watches, and Patek Philippe
timepieces. Why do other watch fans find his collection
so impressive? We went watch spotting, and checked out the
actor’s choice timepieces, through the years. Charlie is a huge fan of Patek Philippe – regarded
as the most prestigious watch brand in the world. His Patek Philippe collection covers rare
vintage models, to more recent sports watches. One of his more recent acquisitions is the
Patek Philippe Nautilus, reference 5712 (fifty seven twelve). The model features a Date and Moonphase display,
plus a Power Reserve feature, on a gradient black-blue dial. Despite the number of features, its quirky
dial is organized and easy to read. Launched in 2006, it was one of the models
released by Patek Philippe, to celebrate the 30th year of the Nautilus. Also among Charlie’s contemporary Patek Philippe
watches, is the reference 5970 (fifty nine seventy), Perpetual Calendar Chronograph in
platinum. Produced from 2004 to 2011, the 5970 has a
40 millimeter case that’s a bit on the thick side, and it’s quite popular among watch collectors
for its modern and generous size. The perpetual calendar chronograph – which
also features a moonphase indicator — has a superbly balanced and legible dial. Other models of the 5970 feature gem set bezels,
so this platinum case is considered a true classic. Up next is the Patek Philippe Perpetual Calendar
reference 3940 (thirty nine forty). This 18k yellow gold watch features three
subdials – one each for the days of the month, days of the week, and months of the
year. At 6 o’clock, it features an elegant aperture
for the moon phases — all harmoniously arranged on a matte silver dial. Enjoying this video so far? Subscribe to our channel, and get updates

the very rare, vintage Patek Philippe, Perpetual Calendar reference 2438 (twenty four thirty
eight). Produced in the 1950s, the 2438 is the first
water resistant perpetual calendar produced by the brand, AND in the history of watches. Only 65 of these watches are known to exist. While Patek Philippe is clearly the jewel
of his collection, Charlie has also worn other brands. Charlie used to wear a Rolex Yacht-Master
Steel Platinum watch on Three and a Half Men. The reference 16622 (one six six two two)
combines a steel construction, with a platinum rotatable time-lapse bezel. Water resistant up to 100 meters, it also
offers water protection when worn aboard yachts, and competing in regattas. Charlie has also been spotted with a Jaeger
LeCoultre Master Memovox – a sophisticated dress watch that has a built-in alarm. Its two separate crowns allow the wearer to
manually wind the watch, AND set the alarm separately. And finally, we have Charlie’s hand-wound
IWC Portuguese watch. The classic steel timepiece has a black dial,
silver tone hands, and Arabic numerals. Another understated, but elegant timepiece
that clearly belongs to his collection. Charlie Sheen has truly exquisite taste in
watches, and we hope to see more of them soon. Which watch was your favorite? Tell us in the comments section. Want to see more watch collections? Click on the upper right screen, for our Watches
